About Ezra Taft Benson

Ezra Taft Benson (1899 - 1994) Was called to be an Apostle in 1943. He served as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture from 1953 to 1961. On November 10, 1985, he became President of the Church. Among the most notable of Ezra Taft Benson's accomplishments are his promotion of the principles of liberty and good government, his testimony of the Book of Mormon, and most importantly in leading souls to Christ through the Gospel.
